Broken hand update

Hard to believe it's been 6 weeks already since my hand was broken.

The cast was removed today. It feels good to have that thing off.

My hand is still very swollen. I can barely bend it at the wrist and I can't close the hand. If I try to make a fist the fingers get maybe a third of the way there then lock up.

I'm not very pleased with the doctor I've been seeing. I hope there's not more damage that hasn't been discovered yet.

Mood: frustrated

The thing my physical therapist told me was, "It's going to take as long as it's going to take. Like it or not"

Been thru it twice now. I feel your pain. :)

Oh do I know what you mean on that front. I got my knee operated on in April and I'm still getting it back in shape. Hopefully physical therapy will get you back into action again. I won't kid you, it's likely to be painful but it's worth it in the end.
